Three Ingredient Soup Recipe

Creamy Potato Soup Mix + Broccoli + Velveeta Broccoli Potato Soup

I know what you are thinking.  Can this soup possibly be that special?  Well let me tell you…This soup tastes deli-sh!  My friend, Marla, gets credit for this easy soup.  What I especially like about this recipe is that the Bear Creek Soup mix has bits of hash brown potatoes in the creamy base which makes the texture interesting, along with the bite-sized broccoli pieces.  Keep these three ingredients stocked in your kitchen and soup will always be close at hand at the end of a busy day when you go home and say you can’t possibly cook dinner.  You can with this recipe, because little time and effort is needed. Just don’t tell your family and friends that the soup they are bragging on has only three ingredients. Pretend you slaved over a hot stove all evening to prepare them a meal.  Just kidding!
 Mix soup mix according
to directions.

 Add steamed broccoli
 Add Velveeta cheese.
Result:  Broccoli Potato Soup.

So glad you enjoyed it Kristi! This soup has become a family favorite! My daughter made it tonight for a get-together with friends. She made it in the crock pot.

sounds great!! going to try it tonight next to baked chicken and rice :)

  4. I tried the suggested recipe on the package. Bacon bits and cheddar cheese (which I bought at Walmart – their Great Valu line). As a little extra, which I always like, is to get rye or sourdough store-made bread and break it up in pieces instead of crackers.
