Salty Caramel and Pecan Oatmeal Cookies

Salty Caramel and Pecan Oatmeal Cookies | My Kitchen AddictionsI accumulate piles of magazines on the coffee table, corner of the room, on my bedside table and other random places in our house. I don’t want to do away with any of those magazines, because there is at least one thing, usually a recipe, that I need within them.  Okay, I admit…I’m a magazine, especially foodie ones, addict. Where did I go first?  The world-wide web, of course.  I was quickly educated with words and pictures of “what sounded like and looked like” a delicious, beautiful pastry.  Did I convince myself I had to make these pastries, which are a cross between a croissant and doughnut?  It didn’t take long! I searched for recipes and came upon these very interesting and well-made videos which offered tips and tricks for successful cronut making.  You must watch these videos!  I kept playing and pausing them while I prepared my first cronuts.
